NATHANIEL BROWN
I
have been a Certified Massage Therapist for the past 17 years.
I owned and operated Finger Art Massage Studio in the Haddon
Hill/Grand Lake neighborhood for 6 years and in 2006 opened
Majestic Day Spa with Shonna Hall.
I received my training at the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville,
California which provides the most comprehensive training for massage therapists
in the United States. In addition to learning various styles of massage
therapy, I also studied anatomy, kinesiology and how to assess and customize
sessions according to people's individual needs and requests.
I have training and experience in treating physical pain whether it's
caused by stress, emotional tension, a sports injury or surgery. Also,
I utilize various forms of massage therapy including: Deep Tissue, Swedish,
and Reflexology as well as offering advice on proper nutrition and exercise
to help you move towards optimal health and wellness.
I continue to expand my knowledge and techniques by attending conferences
and workshops conducted by the International Esthetics, Cosmetics
and Spa Conference, The New Life Expo, The International Congress
of Esthetics as well as being an active member
of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
I am dedicated to massage therapy because it gives me great joy knowing
I help people not only achieve relaxation but also increase their overall
wellbeing.
SHONNA HALL
I
began my career in the beauty industry as a model and quickly
discovered that there was little good advice on proper skincare
available. Later I became a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, and
again discovered many people had major skin issues. That's
what led me to focus on solutions for solving skin problems
and to become a licensed esthetician.
I received my training at the Deloux School of Cosmetology in Fairfield,
California. Shortly after graduation I further developed my
skills at Exotic Faces with owner/operator Ashia Darby. I have
over 11 years of experience in the skincare and beauty industry
as a make-up artist and skincare specialist.
Each year I participate in workshops and trainings as well as attend the
International Congress of Esthetics conference and Masters
classes conducted by M. A. C. and the International Dermal
Institute. I am a member of the Associated Skin Care Professionals and
a Certified Lavish Lash Professional. My training, experience and ongoing
education mean I am familiar with the many different causes of acne and
skin problems associated with aging and hormonal imbalances and what solutions
work for each one.
I continue to work in the field of beauty and skincare because I know
how devastating acne can be as I have experienced it myself.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and personal experiences with
people while assisting them in achieving clear skin.
